We didn't do very much this weekend. Saturday we went out on a hunt for some 2nd-hand shops or "reuse" shops, as they are referred to over here, that we can take Curtis's dad to. We had a recommendation from one of my Japanese friends on a shop so we set out to find it...with no luck.
Saturday night a man came from the Decherd plant on a house hunt/ business trip. Curtis met him at his hotel and took him to get a meal and to show him a couple of stores in town.
Today we took David, the new comer, to church and then to show him around the area. He will be moving here for 18 months with his wife and 2 kids at the end of this month. He had never been to Japan before now and his wife has never been here...so we are excited and anxious to show them around and to help them get settled in.
Stay tuned...maybe we will have more interesting things to post this week. Who knows...I might get slapped in the head with a fish hanging from a tree or something.

Isn't it nice to now be on the other side of living there in Japan. You are now the one that knows how to show people around. Can you believe you have lived there that long?
Sounds like y'all are still enjoying your stay there. Who's ready to see family from TN? I know they are ready to see you all. I told Phil to take bunches of pictures (with people we know in them). Will Deana's folks get to come while y'all are there? I'm sure you're happy everyone isn't coming at the same time..lol!
Take care & remember - I love you all to pieces!!!
