Food, Fun & More

This entry isn't really in a chronological order, some things happened this weekend and others happened in the past couple weeks...so here goes. A couple weeks ago, 2 of my Japanese friends taught me how to make gyoza, aka "Asian dumpling". They were soooo good!

Last week I went to Kevita's house, one of the moms from Avery's school, to learn how to make Indian food. And boy was it HOT!!!!

Saturday, we went to an outlet mall that was located at the Yokohoma Marina. Avery got to play in the water some and we got to admire some of the local yachts. We thought about buying one..then we remembered that Curtis gets sea sick...oh well.

Yesterday we went to a flea market in Shin-Yokohoma and found some nice things. In the middle of the park where the flea market was held, there was a water fountain for the kids to play in. Avery had a blast!

MMMmmm, those Asian dumplings look quite delicious. Deana, you are such a good American cook that I'm sure you could make anything. BTW, I hope your sinuses are clearing up some, I know that has to be miserable. Go ahead & buy one of those yachts & I will send Curtis a supply of sea sick pills...LOL! Last week end Gary & Star, Phil & Betty & Tessi & Austin were here with us, guess y'all know what was missing, huh? Yep, it was you guys. *** Much Love ***

Hey Amy! The only pics not made with my new camera are the first 2 of me and Mayumi and the gyoza. The rest were taken with the new one. I can tell a huge difference.

I hope you will remember how to make all that good stuff when you get home! I still have those pkg.s of something that will have to wait till you get here to fix. Love you all! Nana

Can't wait for you to cook that stuff for us. You guys seem to never run out of things to do over there. I know you are ready to come home, but just look at all the fun stuff you were able to experience. That 'stuff' Mom is referring to is Curry Rice....lol. I have made it a couple of times - I love it...Keith and Austin, not so much. Love you guys - see you soon.
